Students learned new lessons and had so much fun doing so this month. They learned the lesson entitled ‘What is in the restaurant?’. They also learned new words sentences, and they did an activity related to the theme. They also had a real restaurant and they ate food and used the words that they learned from the new lesson. We also learned two other lessons entitled ‘What do you want?” and “Where is the roasted Goose?’.

They learned a new Nasheed called “My Book!”, and they had a big test.

We are about to finish surat Al Insaan then we’ll have a test in on the whole sura, after that we’ll start surat Al Qiama Inshallah.

We focused this month on the French grammar and we applied the grammar lessons "verbe avoir and être" on our first theme “my house”. We learned how to make a good sentence without mistakes. We did some plays using the grammar lessons and we practiced our spelling as well. Thank you for your cooperation! Tr Hala

The test will be on all material from the two handouts in the social studies binders.

The questions will be in the form of short answers and comprehension of concepts related to the different people in the middle ages.

The students should focus on the concept of the different levels of power in medieval society, how people were able to change for one level of power to another and what were the characteristics of those people.

The students are reminded on a daily basis and in some cases on a class by class basis to take record in their notebooks of everything that is written on the chalkboard, or discussed in class pertaining to class material.

Additionally, students are reminded on a daily basis and in some cases on a class by class basis to record all homework, assignments, projects, and test in their agendas.

The students are encouraged on a daily basis to and sometimes on a class by class basis to review their notebooks daily to go over the work done in class and consolidate their notes and understanding.

Please, on a daily basis, go over your child’s notebooks in order to help them review and to check on what they are doing in class.

There will be, on Friday Monday November 12 15th insh’Allah, a unit-end test.

The test will be on all material from page 14 of the textbook until page 26.

Samples of the questions on the test can be found throughout the textbook pages, the mid chapter review in the textbook, the problem bank in the textbook, the questions in the workbook related to the chapter, and of course work done in the class and recorded by the students in their notebooks.
